I'm a bi/queer guy living alone, opening up my place for one roommate. It's on the 2nd floor of a house and very quiet. Overall, it's a 3 bedroom / 2 bath but there are some important details to the layout: 1. Two of the 'bedrooms' are adjoined. One of these rooms would become your bedroom and adjoin off your bedroom is a smaller room that I have turned into a home gym. So the room is ideal for someone who is excited to have full access to the home gym and is welcome to use it. Obviously, I want to use the gym too and would need to cross your room to do so, so we can set up a schedule for that. 2. There are 2 bathrooms. One is a standard 3-piece with a shower/tub. The other is a gigantic room with double sinks and a soaker tub (no shower). So while you can certainly have a dedicated sink, we will have to share the shower. Neither bathroom is a master suite setup, they are both down the hall. 3. I work from home doing marketing and I have put my desk in the living room. Therefore, looking for someone who either isn't home during the days or would be able to respect not hanging out in the living room during typical work hours, unless you're also working. 4. I have a cat that is very important to me, so it's paramount that someone else respects and understands cat nature. He's well-behaved and friendly. 5. All utilities and wifi are included. I am down to include a monthly house cleaner to help us out too. 6. No couples. And if you become a couple, that's fine, but I don't want a partner around in common spaces a lot. I don't want two roommates. 7. Month-to-month with a 60-day notice to move out either way. First and last to move in. I will check the references. 8. I'm 43 and fairly easygoing, but I'm not easygoing about keeping the apartment at a certain level of cleanliness and organization and keeping the home ultimately chill and peaceful. 9. My ideal roommate is probably a person who is at minimum in their late 20's, career-oriented, hygienic, easygoing, and able to carry a conversation and read social cues. Not expecting to become BFFs or anything but it'd be nice to have a consistently good vibe. 10. The apartment is not accessible. Coin laundry requires going outside and around the back and it's $4.50 per load. 11. I know there are a lot of photos. The room for rent is the last 6-7 pics. 3 of those pics are old photos from when the room was fully furnished as an office. The last photos are of the room right now, but obviously, I'll empty it all the way before you move in. The room features a huge closet, btw. 12. Absolutely fantastic location and incredibly close to all forms of TTC.
