Located in the heart of the Historic District, it’s on a quiet street just minutes from all that is Savannah. This ideal location makes it easy to enjoy downtown’s shops, restaurants, squares, entertainment and night life. It also provides easy access to roadways and Savannah’s beaches. Upon entering the house, you’ll see an eclectic mix of wall art, including historic photos, maps, and postcards of Savannah as well as original paintings and prints. Furnishings are comfortable and homey, including one double bed, one queen bed and a sleep sofa. There are original features such as two fireplaces (nonworking), a heartwood pine floor, high ceilings and tongue-and-groove wainscoting. Ceiling fans in all rooms and spacious closets add to comfort and convenience. The eat-in kitchen features a countertop made from a local live oak tree that fell during a hurricane and is fully stocked with essentials like a coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, as well as dishes, utensils, and cookware that complement the home’s decor. There is also a separate room with a dedicated workspace that can function as a home office, a washer and dryer and extra storage. This home also offers private outdoor space with a screened-in back porch that leads to a fully fenced and landscaped courtyard garden. Additionally, there is designated off-street parking for two tandem-parked cars. 6-month and 12-month lease options are available. Leave your car and walk to everything.
