Your room has a large north-west facing window which gets amazing afternoon sunlight, and a (small) private ensuite with a brand new shower. It’s a somewhat cozy room, so a double bed would probably be the best fit to ensure you can still have a dresser/cupboard and desk. A bit about me— I’m in my early 30s (she/her) and run a sustainable fashion brand, which keeps me pretty busy. I have a fairly flexible schedule and work from home a couple days a week, when I’m not at my studio or with a client. I’m usually out of the house for work 2-3 days a week, and am rarely around on weekends, especially in the summer. In my downtime I love reading, patio-hopping, trying new recipes, going to Pilates, and lounging in our sunny backyard. I value a quiet, peaceful and cozy space with open communication. I’m pretty clean and would love to find someone who is on the same page in terms of shared cleaning responsibilities. Ideally you are— Someone in their mid-20s to mid-30s who’s clean, respectful and friendly. You’ve lived in share houses before and understand the importance of communication and mutual respect for a happy home. I like having the occasional movie night, glass of wine, chat with my roommate (and I hope you do too), but also really value down time. An in-person or hybrid working situation would be best so we can both have time in the house on our own. The house is mostly furnished, so ideally you don’t have a ton of stuff, but I’m open to your contributions to make it feel like home! No smoking, no pets (allergies), no couples. Secure garage parking is available for $150 per month, or else you can apply for a street permit through the city.
