Hi! My spouse and I are married and live in Dallas, but we own a home in Maxwell (near San Marcos) where we’re renting out rooms. We’re looking for calm, respectful, and responsible housemates who value a peaceful living environment. We currently have three rooms available for rent: Two furnished private room at $950/month One unfurnished private room at $850/month Both options include all utilities (high-speed WiFi, electricity, water, and gas). The home is located in a quiet, newer neighborhood and is conveniently situated — about 15 minutes from Texas State University, San Marcos outlets, and H-E-B, with easy access to I-35 and roughly 35 minutes to Austin. You’ll have access to shared kitchen, living areas, bathroom, in-unit laundry, and driveway parking. Important note about the master bedroom: The master bedroom is currently occupied by an elementary school teacher who may be moving out at the end of this school year. If you’re interested in the master bedroom and can join us before he moves out, we can offer you a better deal to take it over early. There is currently one other person (the teacher) living in the house. Lease options are flexible. We use TurboTenant for all renting processes, including background checks, lease signing, and monthly rent payments. No smoking. Pets are considered with a $50 monthly pet fee and a $150 deposit. We can also refer you to a reliable pet sitter if needed. A background check, proof of income, and references are required.
