It is also 40 minutes to Kings Canyon National Park and an hour and a half to Sequoia National Park. You can tour Boyden Cave, hike in the beauty of General Grant and General Sherman trees, explore Crystal Cave, and fish at Hume Lake. Restaurants are close by. Bear Mountain Pizza, Gina\'s Place, and School House Restaurant &; Tavern. There are two gas stations close by and are nicely stocked with things you might need.
