A True Sense of Community The Basics: 95 units, two and three-bedroom suites Fairview Towers epitomizes community. The building itself has undergone extensive renovations including a new exterior, a new lobby (with a grand spiral staircase), glass balconies and updated suites (stainless steel appliances and granite countertops). In the back of the building, there is green space offering picnic tables, umbrellas and a barbecue. The building staff has taken on responsibility for the landscaping and the flower gardens, so residents can spend time outdoors in a beautiful setting. The social room was also recently renovated, offering a billiards table, a ping pong table, WiFi and cable TV. It’s a perfect space for entertaining, parties or special events (and it’s decorated seasonally at Christmas for people who want to host family and friends). What’s Unique: the community – seasonal festivities are a regular occurrence (Christmas, Halloween trick or treating), people organize craft and bake sales to raise money for charity and the seniors population has an organized gathering in the social room twice a month. “There is such a sense of community and kindness among the residents here. We have one resident who always cooks more than is required, so she can take dinner to other residents. Everyone really knows each other and looks out for each other.”
