Fully furnished- utilities/internet included Located on East Liberty Street, and shaded by beautiful, majestic Oak Trees, this 3 story brick residence was built in 1870 for Thomas Ballentyne. Enriched in history, this building hosts some of the oldest apartments in the Historic District. Old America has been tastefully renovated to capture the essence of the historic architectural details, such as the original hardwood flooring, brick work, windows and so much more. Heading up to your airy digs, you'll find that the space boasts with tall ceilings, amazing natural light, and an open floor plan - an entertainers dream! Majority of the furnishings and decor pieces are vintage, dating as far back as the early 1800's, which is extremely fitting for this historic home. The gathering room boasts a 50" Smart TV with netflix, surround sound and ability to play your favorite tunes. Off the living room double doors, a decorative balcony that overlooks the serene and relaxing courtyard - enjoy the breeze on a crisp fall day and listen to the clicking of the horse drawn carriages pass by. Just off of this space, you'll find the quaint yet fully stocked kitchen where you'll have everything needed for short, or extended stays. Don't fret if you're a night owl, the bedrooms are on the opposite end of the apartment, away from the gathering room so you'll never be a pest for those looking to get an earlier nights rest! Each room is fitted with a plush queen size bed, with crisp white linens, wireless chargers and an ample amount of storage for your belongings. The primary suite has its own private ensuite bathroom, that feature spa like amenities where you can soak or steam as long as you desire after a long day of adventure. The second full bathroom gleams with natural light and is located just off of the hall, easy for guests to access. Downstairs, the communal courtyard is a serene oasis where you can escape from your party, start your morning off with a cup of joe, or enjoy an afternoon read. You'll also be just steps from the most beautiful squares in Savannah, in addition to River Street, Colonial Cemetery, and Broughton Street. There are many outstanding restaurants, coffee shops and cocktail bars along East Liberty Street, so you'll never be far from something great! Bedroom 1: Queen Size Bed Bedroom 2: Queen Size Bed Living Room: Queen Size Air Mattress Parking: Metered Parking This unit has on-street, metered parking in the area. However, guests can find non-metered spaces roughly150ft away Liberty Street between Habersham and Price Street. Meters are monitored by the City of Savannah, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. You do not need to pay the meters on Sunday. You may purchase a parking pass at the Mobility and Parking Services office. This information and more is provided for our guests in our confirmation email upon booking. We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.
