In 2006, the Eustone Apartments underwent a major renovation. The extensive remodel left ‘no stone unturned’. Every bathroom, kitchen, plumbing, wiring, appliance, flooring, wall, window, etc was replaced. This resulted in 28 high quality cozy 1 bedroom and studio apartments. The rent amount includes utilities except for electricity. This is a no pets, no smoking property. Many units also enjoy great lake and city views. Please make sure to inquire about off street parking, as some limited options are available. For the history buff… The Eustone Building was originally built as the Salter Terrace in 1887. Charles Salter was the first pastor of Pilgrim Congregational Church and the first chaplain of the Bethel Association, a missionary society to serve sailors, loggers, miners, and their families. In 1887, Salter and his wife Maria commissioned Oliver Traphagen to build the four townhouses of Salter Terrace. They lived there with their sons and daughters until 1892. The Romanesque Revival building is essentially unchanged on the exterior from its original construction in 1887. Come take a look at this architectural gem, and live in a part of Duluth’s famous history! Tenants are responsible for the monthly rent charges of $800 as well as the electric utility. Additionally, a garbage fee of $10 per occupant, along with a monthly technology fee of $6.95 per account, are applied directly to your rent charges each month. We provide a liability insurance option at $18 through our in-house policy, though tenants also have the flexibility and freedom to secure their own coverage if preferred.
