This newly renovated apartment is half of a duplex. (Apartment A was completed last year. In total it has taken two years and ten months to renovate and upgrade these apartments and still keep some historical character.) There is a kitchen, full bath, laundry, and living room on ground floor. Upstairs there is a bedroom and new half bath. The original house was built in 1850. The kitchen and bath were a new addition, around 1900. It has been renovated and upgraded to modern tasteful standards and comfort. There is a full front porch and shared entrance foyer, and a back enclosed entrance porch. Out back has a large parking area with a large two car garage. The mostly single family home neighborhood is a short pleasant walk to downtown. (It is three doors closer to downtown than our home, and we love to walk to the library or any of the twenty-four restaurants and pubs downtown.) The renovations are still in progress and almost complete. Kitchen counters are scheduled for 9/24, and carpet for the living room and stairs the next day. After that we will install a stacked washer and drier in the kitchen. Photos will be posted of the living room, stairs, and kitchen after the carpet. Tours are available at anytime. The furnace is gas hot air. You would pay for National Grid (gas and electric), and Spectrum. Trash garbage removal is included. Bill and Pam Loeb

Fully Furnished, utilities included. This is a cozy apartment (side-by-side duplex), two floors, built in 1850, and renovated to modern comforts. Fully furnished. Everything is included except laundry. (Includes heat and electric, TV, internet and WiFi, garbage, snow plowing, garage parking with electric door opener.) This is a non-smoking and pet free home. In the renovation we kept the quaintness as much as possible. You will note the hand-hewn beam as you walk up the stairs to the bedroom. On the hottest days you will rarely need AC. On cold days the apartment heats up in five minutes. The apartment is in our family neighborhood, three doors from our home. With the city sidewalks, the downtown, with its library, over two dozen restaurants and pubs, and stage theater, is less than a ten minute easy walk. The hospital and many other places of employment are equally close.
