This two-bedroom, one-bath log cabin sits on Second Avenue in Hahns Peak Village, a short walk to Steamboat Lake and about 30 minutes to downtown Steamboat Springs. Its best feature is the large composite deck with cable railing, which looks across the lake to the peaks. Inside, warm log and pine walls and ceilings frame an updated kitchen with quartz counters, a gas range and a dishwasher. The living room has a gas stove for cold North Routt nights, and a sunny dining nook looks out on the lake. There are two bedrooms, plus an upstairs loft that works well as an office, reading nook or extra sleeping space. The loft is reached by a steep stair and is not a legal bedroom. Fast Luminate fiber internet makes remote work easy.
