This is a recently renovated cottage on Galiano island, on a 5 acre property which includes the owners house. Looking for a full time permanent tenant. Galiano is a 55 min ferry ride from Tsawwassen, on the Vancouver mainland. The cottage is 15 km from the Galiano ferry terminal, so best suited to someone with their own transport. Since rural life can surprise us with sporadic complications like a power outage. I need a tenant who is physically, mentally and emotionally capable of coping with such situations. I would like a tenant who is interested in signing a 3 month-1 year lease for this beautiful cottage set in a gorgeous scene of pond & forest. There are many hiking trails nearby. A 20 min walk can take you to Pebble beach to the North, Retreat Cove dock to the South & Laughlin Lake to the West. Pets will be considered on a case by case basis. Maximum 1-2 tenants. Rent includes electricity, internet, and onsite laundry. Please reply with information about yourself and your plans for a life on Galiano.
