Full Disclosure: Owners live downstairs with 2 friendly but alert dogs (they will let you know when anyone visits) and a 4-year old boy, but noise transference from down to upstairs is minimal. There is also a train nearby that comes through each night. Some consider it quaint, others don't notice it, and still others can't stand it. FWIW!
