I'm moving to Philly to do Teach For America and I need someone to take over my lease! We have an awesome 1 bedroom apartment at Oakcrest Towers on Pennsylvania Avenue & Brooks Drive. The unit is on the 8th floor (top floor), of a clean and quiet building. If I weren't moving out of state, I 'd honestly stay here until I was ready to purchase a house. I LOVE living here. Here are some highlights: -Free controlled access parking -Close to the beltway and DC - Utilities included for a flat rate of $70/ month - great balcony (beautiful sunsets) - Great closet space (my boyfriend and I live together, and we have big and separate closets) - Nice Kitchen -Super spacious unit - Close to Target, grocery stores, Marshall's, Planet Fitness, Five Guys, America's Best, Ledo's etc. -Laundry on every floor (this unit is about a 20 second walk to the laundry room) We are moving out the morning of July 2. Your move in process would just involve you applying through our apartment complex, getting approved, and us signing paperwork saying that you'll finish out my lease (which ends in November). If you want to stay past then, you are welcomed to renew. You wont need to come up with a security deposit or first & last month's rent because we'll just be transferring the lease. Hi! I was accepted to Teach For America, so I am moving to Philly in June. I am looking for someone to take over my lease until November. At that time, you will have the option to do a full renewal if you'd like. You will need to apply directly with the apartment complex, so you don't need to worry about doing any side business with me! About the apartment: Big one bedroom with great closet space, and nice kitchen and an abundance of living space! The unit is on the 8th floor, and has a balcony that overlooks endless trees and a gorgeous sunset. It also gets great light all day. I have lived in many apartments, and honestly, this is the best place I have EVER lived. The building is super close to DC and to the beltway, but you don't have to deal with the congestion of the city. Nearby, you will find a Giant, Shoppers, Target, Marshalls, Dollar Tree (teacher's fave!), Planet Fitness, Ledo's Pizza and lots of other convenient stores/ restaurants. The building is clean and quiet, and I have NEVER seen a pest of any kind, which says a lot for the DC area! The parking lot is HUGE, so you'll always have a spot. ALSO- the rent includes ALL of your utilities!!! All you pay for is cable/internet. Please visit the oakcrest towers website for better photos and more info.
