Lovingly renovated, this bright, industrial-chic apt with exposed pipes, beams and brick, is in a 1920s farmhouse nestled on a quiet dead-end street, just 100 feet from the beautiful mansions on Highland Boulevard and steps from both upper and lower Highland Park as well as the beautiful Ridgewood Reservoir. Entering from the front of the house –through a fresh, landscaped gated entry and large front area, past the shared, furnished porch with vintage shutters and vintage door, follow the gated side walkway to the rear garden and rear french-door entry to find this 2bd 1ba apartment. This newly-renovated apartment features two interior entry areas for coats and shoes, an eat-in kitchen with exposed brick and glass-block windows, a bright living room, a nice-sized bath and 2 good-sized bedrooms, each with closets, that can accommodate queen beds. The kitchen is modern, with floating shelves and new cabinetry, Anthropologie hardware, new pull-out faucet, brand new stainless appliances (range, dishwasher and fridge), ample counter space for food prep and a storage pantry. New wide-plank eco-conscious wood flooring and new wood doors throughout. The large bath features a new tub and new rain-shower, ample new storage, eco-friendly toilet, vintage ABC Carpet & Home mirror and a cosmetic mirror. The entire apartment is outfitted with 3" recessed spots, giving it a very high-end feeling (in addition to other accent lighting added throughout). An 8' x 10' exterior weather-proof shed in the backyard area is available to house bikes, beach chairs etc., for all of the tenants. Right outside the apartment entry, a separate windowed, heated laundry room with washer and dryer, folding table and utility sink is free to use for tenants and is accessible through the back French-door entrance. The sideyard and backyard have been outfitted with wood outdoor furnishings – a family-style table that seats eight, a chaise lounge, and benches, for additional outside enjoyment for all tenants. Other tenants are professionals and creatives. The huge backyard once had a pool and there is a large circular area that features some perennials and wild grasses. Two spigot/hoses are available for use - one in the front yard area and one in the back. The wildlife is amazing given the home's proximity to Highland park and it is aptly situated to easily access both Ridgewood Reservoir and the upper park, as well as the lower park with free tennis courts, its playground and community garden. The peace on this dead end street is surprising, given its Brooklyn. All utilities are included: gas, water, heat, electricity and your own personally controlled wall-mounted air –conditioning unit with enough BTUs for the whole apartment (we made sure). A interactive Ring-camera doorbell is also included as is Ring camera security at the front and back of the house. Public Transportation – J or Z express train is 5 blocks away, Van Siclen stop (8 min walk) – 27 minutes to the Lower East Side. Or one J/Z stop away from Van Siclen, connect at Broadway Junction to the L, A or C trains. (Broadway Junction is also a 13 minute walk from the house). Fulton Street (2 blocks away) – Key Food, Chinese food, Boricuas, Pizza, little fruit/vegetable stands YMCA (9 blocks away) – a 10 minute walk, and has an indoor pool and all YMCA programs Bushwick, Bed-Stuy and Ridgewood - all a hop, skip and jump
