Despite the feeling of being away from it all, it’s just five minutes by car to shopping and dining in the Crossroads and Barnyard shopping centers, 10 minutes to downtown Carmel, and 15 minutes to golf and sightseeing in Pebble Beach, enjoying historic Pacific Grove, or visiting Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The apartment has a private bedroom with full bed, large closet, and a recliner. Another full bed is available in the living room area, which also includes comfortable couch, built-in seating, a recliner, a 42-inch HDTV with satellite service, and a door leading to an outdoor patio area. The adjacent bath has a shower. A full kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, and island with a butcher block top beckons the cook, with an eating area for two in the sunny kitchen which has access to an enclosed area with a small water fountain and patio seating. Maid, laundry and meal service can be provided for an additional fee. No laundry facilities are available on site. No pets are permitted on the property. The upstairs thermostat controls the heat for the entire home including this private downstairs guest suite, but there is natural cooling by opening windows and a space heater is also provided.
