***The rental amount ranges from $3235 to $4286 per month depending on length of stay and time of year*** Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood just a one block to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. The main room with vaulted ceiling and skylights, comprises the living, dining and kitchen areas. A beach-like feel is achieved with sand-colored tile flooring, a rattan throw rug, and white furnishings. There's a Plasma TV with Blue Ray DVD player. The plush sofa, that can be made comfortable for sleeping with a memory foam pad, is deep enough to sleep a child. The kitchen, with granite counter tops and white cabinetry, has a small gas range, oven and full refrigerator (no dishwasher). A round white table with four chairs is provided for dining. The bathroom, which is tiled throughout, features a granite counter top and shower over tub. You will sleep like a baby on the queen-sized bed with its Sealy Posturepedic extra-plush mattress and ultra soft, luxury linens. A Dutch door in the bedroom leads to a private patio with colorful flowering plants. There is a bistro tables and chairs and a gas grill.. You can access a stacking washer/dryer from the patio. The cottage is within walking distance of the shops, boutiques galleries and restaurants in the village of Carmel. Bruno's Market, a gourmet grocery store that is a Carmel trademark, is just a few blocks away. In the car, you can be at Carmel Beach in a matter of a few minutes. A pathway along the fence-line just outside the guest house door leads to a charming little park. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. The cottage is situated in a completely enclosed and private area behind a main house - also available for rental -- that can accommodate 4 adults and 1 child age 12 or under..
