The 185-acre Tannery Creek Reserve is protected by the Bodega Land Trust, allows dogs, and is just down the road from Joy Cottage. Just minutes from the historic town of Occidental packs art galleries, gift shops, dueling Italian family restaurants, and a cultural center into 2 blocks of small-town goodness! Nearby zip-lines and the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center will keep you busy! Proximity to wineries: There are several tasting rooms in downtown Occidental (3 mi) and tasting rooms in vineyards nearby. Two of the closest are Cobb Wines (3.9 mi) and Occidental Wine (4.2 mi). Dozens more are within 10 miles. Nearest River Beach: The Monte Rio Public Beach is the closest beach on the Russian River at 10 mi.
