Note: This apartment is free rent and free utilities in exchanged for caretaker responsibilities; disregard the $500 rent price in the listing - the site requires we put a price. We are looking for a caretaker for our vacation rental in Mazama (6 miles from the Mazama Store). In exchange for caretaker responsibilities (including weekly cleaning), we offer free rent with all utilities included. The studio apartment has everything you need - fully furnished, all utilities and WiFi, its own washer/dryer, and use of the large garage. It even has a bit of a view of the Lost River. The main house is on the Lost River about 6 miles from Mazama Store, and is a 2-bed, 2-bath house. It is rented out on average about once every week (more in summer/winter, less in other seasons), and the caretaker responsibilities are primarily cleaning the main house after guests leave and light maintenance / handiwork in and around the house (including shoveling the short path during the winter; the driveway is plowed by a professional service throughout winter). We are looking for someone that is willing to be discrete when guests are present. The current caretaker is leaving end of March, and we are looking for someone who can start then.
