$1,500; 1 bedroom + on Seaton St, south of Dundas. 670 ft2. Unfurnished. Available immediately. The unit is composed of part of the first floor and basement of an old row house on a residential street. The main living space was the original living room for the house so it has high ceilings, lots of daylight, and the original pinewood flooring. There is a fireplace but it does not work and is just for aesthetic at this point. The bedroom, kitchen, washroom, and additional den/desk space is in the basement. The unit was recently renovated and has new kitchen cabinets, counter, stove, toilet, and sink. Central A/C for heating and cooling. 10 minute walk west to Yonge and Dundas or East to Cabbagetown and Regent Park. Some points to note. The basement has a few transition spaces that are a bit low, so if you’re tall, you may find it to be an annoyance. The bedroom is adjacent to the electrical and furnace room for the house, which while insulated, can still be heard when it kicks on and off. This utility room will need to be accessed a few times a year to change the air filter, and to reset any tripped breakers. There is no on-site laundry, but there is a laundry mat 50 feet away at the corner of the street. The house is an old row house so the neighbours can sometimes be heard, though they are all considerate and nice people. It would be understood that you would also be respectful with regards to the neighbours and others in the house - there are 2 other apartments in the house. Felines and non-canine pets are welcome and negotiable; would prefer no loud cursing parrots. No smoking inside. Gas and water included. Hydro is not included. Permit parking may be available on street. References, credit check, and proof of income will be required.
