Feel at home in this custom-built, modern 3-bedroom house that sleeps up to 8 guests, perched atop a private 36-acre hilltop with spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains and the valley. This architectural gem features floor-to-ceiling windows and is fully equipped with high-quality pots, pans, and accessories. The primary suite boasts a king-size Saatva bed with luxurious, resort-quality sheets and pillows, custom cabinetry and closet, a RokuTV, and an en-suite spa-like bathroom with small-batch, organic toiletries and plush towels. The custom walk-in shower doubles as a steam room and features a wrap-around bench, rain shower, hand shower, and body jets. Entertainment options include an arcade, RokuTVs, a piano, a record collection, and games and books. There is also a washer and dryer with detergent included, and an iron and ironing board. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, French press coffee maker, burr grinder, electric kettle, locally roasted whole bean coffee, and assorted teas. Parking is available for 4 cars in the driveway. A 4-wheel or all-wheel drive is recommended in winter. Located in the beautiful Wears Valley area, this house is a perfect basecamp for scenic drives along Foothills Parkway, hiking in the Smokies, or shopping and fun in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. For the best access to the park, be sure to use the Cades Cove entrance. The Little Brier trailhead is the closest to the house, just over 5 miles away. Groceries and shopping are available in Pigeon Forge, about 9 miles (around 20 minutes by car) away. Dogs are allowed, and they should be included as pets in the guest count. Events or gatherings must have prior approval and are subject to additional fees. There is absolutely no smoking or vaping (tobacco, cannabis, or other substances) or illegal drug use allowed inside the property, including in any screened porches or in any interior areas. A $500 smoke remediation fee will be assessed if you or any members of your group violate this policy. The driveway is steep, so anxious or new drivers may not be comfortable. The house is intended to be a retreat, offering guests an option to unwind and unplug. The house is remote and has Starlink internet. Service may be intermittent, though it is usually sufficient for streaming and browsing.
