Golf carts must be battery/electric powered and operators must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver's license. A Social Membership to the DeBordieu Club provides access to 2 community pools and dining for a daily fee. Located in the very private, oceanfront gated community of DeBordieu Colony near Pawleys Island, South Carolina. This community offers miles of beach and tidal creeks, an on-site nature preserve with walking trails and bike paths, and a delightful year-round climate. For a fee, most homes and villas offer on-site private DeBordieu Club amenities such as golf, tennis, and multiple dining options. No pets are allowed on the premises. Smoking is prohibited on the premises, with a $500.00 fee charged for violations. Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian to book a property. Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. and check-out is before 10:00 a.m. A holdover fee will be charged if the property is not vacated by 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out options may be available for a fee and must be requested at least 7 days prior to arrival. The maximum number of vehicles allowed is 2, plus 1 golf cart, with a $20 fee per vehicle to enter the community. RVs, motorcycles, motorbikes, jet skis, and gas-powered golf carts are not permitted.
