The Rocking Chair Retreat is thoughtfully designed with multiple spaces for comfort and entertainment. The basement features a private king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a cozy lounge with arcade-style games, a TV for movie nights, and laundry facilities. On the main floor, an open-concept living area with large east-facing windows showcases breathtaking views of the Teton Range, a fully stocked kitchen, and a queen bedroom with a shared bathroom. The loft offers a fun kid-friendly space with a full-over-full bunk bed, a TV, and a hangout area open to the main floor below. Whether you're cozying up in front of the TV, playing games in the basement, or soaking in the views from the living room, there’s a space for everyone to enjoy at the Rocking Chair Retreat. Enjoy full garage access year-round, making it easy to store your skis, bikes, fishing gear, and outdoor equipment. In winter, keep your car warm and snow-free before hitting the slopes at Grand Targhee Resort. In summer, store your bikes, kayaks, and hiking gear so you’re always ready for the next adventure. The Rocking Chair Retreat is ideally situated to explore some of the most stunning destinations in the region. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are easily accessible for day trips filled with wildlife, scenic drives, and world-famous hikes. Grand Targhee Resort is just minutes away, offering legendary powder skiing, mountain biking, and outdoor concerts. A scenic drive over Teton Pass leads to Teton Village, Jackson Hole, and iconic Wyoming experiences. Downtown Driggs, ID, is a quick drive away, offering a charming mountain town full of local restaurants, breweries, and boutique shops. Guests are encouraged to treat the home as their own and be respectful of the rules, neighbors, and local community. The number of people at the property should not exceed the maximum sleeping capacity. Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. No events, parties, large gatherings, weddings, smoking, or vaping are allowed in the home or on the decks. An additional charge will be applied if any smoking-related waste is found on the property. Exterior lights should be turned off at night to preserve the dark skies. A maximum of three licensed vehicles is allowed in the driveway and garages. No riding snow machines, dirt bikes, or ATVs in the subdivision or at the rental property. Candles or incense should not be burned in the home, and fireworks are prohibited on the premises. All main entry doors should be locked when not occupied. Fines will apply for violations, including but not limited to leaving garbage in the house or litter on the grounds, failure to disclose pets, smoking in the house or garage, failure to follow house rules and respect posted signs, failure to follow check-out procedure, or violations of local laws. A minimum $500 fine will be imposed for smoking, vaping, or marijuana use in the house or garage, violation of house rules, posted signs, laws, or failure to vacate at check-out time. The home is equipped with smart TVs and Wi-Fi throughout for modern convenience, ensuring you stay connected during your stay.
