I ask all of our tenants as part of the agreement to take their shoes off inside the home, it allows the carpet in the bedrooms to last much longer as well as making the unit much quieter to the surrounding neighbors. * As I said, you do not need to pay an application fee. Too many property management companies treat application fees as a profit center and will have you pay an application fee - even though they know the place is rented or you won't qualify. This is not how I work, as I'm more interested in finding the right person, than making an extra $1,000.
