BRIX is a completely renovated three-story furniture store built in 1866. The original tin ceilings remain intact throughout the lofts and first-floor commercial space, along with exposed brick walls on the interior. Square footages vary between 1450sf and 1900sf. All seven one-bedroom, open-floorplan units have ash hardwood floors, Italian tile bathrooms with double bowl vanities and European fixtures, WoodMode kitchens with iroko hardwood countertops, stainless appliances, gas fireplaces, large flat-screen televisions and in-unit washers and dryers. BRIX is an elevator-served, "green" building utilizing energy efficiency in lighting controls and ground-sourced heating and cooling from a geothermal system. The lofts are in the heart of historic Williamsport's Old City and Central Business District, one block south of Lycoming College. The Basin Street exit of I-180 (and both Starbucks Coffee and Panera Bread) is less than two blocks away, as is the city's best-known white-tablecloth restaurant, DiSalvo's, and the new John R.T. Ryan Brewery. This prime location allows for a short walk to some of the area's top restaurants, cafes, and bars. Unit 2C features a spacious one-bedroom, one-bathroom, open floorplan outfitted with beautiful hardwood and Italian tile floors. The main TV area has four large windows and is furnished with a ROKU Smart TV with cable and business speed Wi-Fi, an electric fireplace, comfortable couches, and coffee tables. A 4-seat dining room table separates the space before spilling into a kitchen that is equipped with ample hardwood countertop space, stainless steel appliances, and is well-stocked with everything needed to make some toast or prepare a multi-course meal. The bathroom includes a double-bowl vanity with plenty of storage, a large mirror, and a roomy walk-in rainfall shower. The laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer is also conveniently located in the bathroom. The bedroom includes a comfortable queen bed, dresser, ROKU Smart TV, nightstands with lamps, and a large walk-in closet with a full organization system. Units are fully furnished down to silverware, small appliances and linens as well as an in-unit washer and dryer. Residents are provided dedicated on-site parking, on-site storage locker, and a common outdoor patio and grilling area. Rent includes all utilities, business speed cable and WiFi, and weekly cleaning service. We only require one-month leases- however, we give priority to tenants willing to sign one-year or longer leases. Brix lofts are smoke-free, and covered outdoor smoking stations are provided. Pets are welcome in our 1st and 2nd floor units with some restrictions and additional fees.
