Is an amazing historical building with a lot of, Chattanooga charm. With exquisite suites and elevators! A very safe and secure building. Amy and Aris makes it all worth it, with so much hospitality and dedication making your stay memorable, more especially around the holidays. The Christmas tree is always ever so beautifully decorated and tall. Hands down, the best rental property, right in the middle of it all downtown Chattanooga!

Located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, The Maclellan is surely THE place to call home. It’s so convenient for quick commuting to work. The structure it’s self is the perfect combination of historic and modern. The views overlook our beautiful city and all the numerous restraints, nite life and parks that are just minutes away. The property manager, Amy, is amazing! She is always friendly, extremely accommodating, and takes pride in her work. The maintenance man, Will, is a true asset to this community as well. He handles all concerns quick and efficiently.

Absolute best experience! Beautiful historical building with modern upgrades! The staff at the Maclellan were incredible! Definitely felt like an extended family member and not just a tenant! Location of the building is perfect to all of the downtown fun! Within walking distance of the TN river and many great restaurants/bars. Will dearly miss this home!

The Maclellan is the best place to live downtown. The convenience of being in the West Village is remarkable. The property manager, Amy , is amazing and makes sure you love your downtown experience. I lived here 3 years and would still be there if my living needs had not changed. This is the place to be if you want the best location and amenities for your money. I love this place !

The Maclellan is proof that “People buy from people”. Relocating to a new town, the worry of fitting and and selecting the best neighborhood can at times be hard and challenging. What I thought was a hard choice became effortless after meeting Amy Hodges at The Maclellan. The Maclellan was the first building I considered and called downtown. When I called to schedule my viewing I spoke to Amy. When I hung up I thought “man she’s nice and professional and I hope that the apartments are as nice as she is”. I came from out of town to see the apartments and she was so patient, respectful, welcoming, kind and showed me all of my options. The diverse floor plans along with the charm, security and luxury of the antique building was worth every penny they were asking. Though the units were outside the initial budget I set and a little smaller, I was willing to set the plan aside for The Maclellan (I mean Amy). Though my mind was made up, I felt necessary to still weigh other options. I saw another complex downtown not far from The Maclellan that was new, larger floor plans, move in special, $200/month cheaper and more amenities. After receiving poor customer service and treatment that I felt was prejudicial, it was all I needed as confirmation that The Maclellan would be my new home.
There has always been an old saying that “People buy from people”. My decision to buy from Amy is proof and one of the best decisions I’ve made when deciding on a home. My son and I have enjoyed calling The Maclellan home for the past 6 months and look forward to transferring to our new larger apartment home in the next 4 days.

My time at the Maclellan was amazing! It’s in a great location, and the units are absolutely fabulous. It was one of the most reasonable prices in town, and I immediately fell in love with the decor. The studio was a bit tight for me, but it was still a great fit for this stage in my life. Amy (manager) was always absolutely amazing, and Will (maintenance) was always extremely prompt with any requests I submitted. I’m talking like things were fixed the next day. Both of them are also extremely sociable and strive to create an intentional community within the property. This place will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’d be happy to live there again.

I’ve lived in the Maclellan since November and won’t be leaving anytime soon. The community of residents are awesome and really make this place feel like home and the staff (Amy and Will) are equally great. The walk ability to my office, restaurants and bars from the building make this a truly desirable place to live, work and play.

I have been here 14 months & I dearly LOVE my apt. Moved down to 2 bedroom & best move ever. I’m 82 & walk my doggie 4 times a day so being on 2 second floor is GREAT.
