I lived here for ten months and it was a great apartment. The management was always on top of things and would always get maintenance over right away if something was needed. The only time maintenance ever took a while to get to something was when I had a bird nest where it shouldn't be, and I found out he was stalling in case there were baby birds so they would have time to get out of the nest and survive before he removed it. What a good freaking guy. I rented a two bedroom here and it's really the best thing I could imagine finding for the price. PROS: Friendly and helpful management (Michelle at the office is very helpful), good-guy-maintenance-guy Chris, proximity to Ted Drewes, proximity to lots of good food around South STL, size for the price, wood floors, tile kitchen, carpet bedrooms, long balcony, dishwasher, w/d, nice neighbors. CONS: Train horn (you do get used to it pretty quickly, and I'm a rather light sleeper), Proximity to Ted Drewes
