I lived here several years and had the best housing experience. The apartments and amenities are great quality. The maintenance team and office personnel are extremely responsive and helpful with any questions or issues. I could not recommend Legends and their team enough!

There is no better place to live!! They treat us so well. Maintenance is quick to respond to every problem. The entire staff is kind, attentive, and seriously top notch!! Things are clean, it feels like a resort in the summer at the pool! We have just signed our third lease. And the best part is how our dog Benny is welcomed. He loves to visit the clubhouse for a treat!! 😊

I lived at the Legends from 2019 to 2023 and absolutely loved it there. As I have recently moved cross country and have had to go through the stress of finding new housing, I realize how much I relied on reviews to help guide my selections so I wanted write this for those who are going through a similar situation. I lived in unit 4510 for reference. First off, the apartment itself was great. Extremely safe, really bright lights at night, abundant parking (guests can park wherever) and a great community. It is a bit out in the middle of nowhere, but the area is expanding with a great Poke Bowl place, mexican, BBQ, Jimmy Johns, and a gas station across the street. Also, not far away is a nice little coffee bar, Vietnamese and a Korean restaurant. The 9 hole golf course for those who like to play is ok. Not in the best shape or the most interesting course, but free to play (but range balls cost money)! I have always had great experiences with service requests (although I only had probably 2-3 during my time there) and their winter services always keep the place plowed in the winter. If I had to be critical on the place at all or just set some realistic expectations, the first thing Id say is it gets really windy (I mean its the midwest, so duh). So when storms come through, the walls will make a lot of noise because there is nothing blocking the wind out there. Also, the flaps on the outside of the complexes which serve as vents for your dryers will bang around, so if you are super sensitive to noise, just be aware. Same with the glass when it rains hard. The pool is only open for a limited time (it opens around Memorial Day, giving you only a few month before it closes for winter). Im not sure why it doesn't open earlier in May to make the most out of it. The grounds are well maintained all around the neighborhood, but there has been more dog poop left behind than when I first moved in. Again, these are all nit picky things and didn't detract from my experience of living there at all. For those who are attending the University, its a mellow 12-15 drive and a great place to live if you enjoy a safe and quiet neighborhood. I have recommended many friends and significant others to live there. *At this time, the neighboring complex has just been built (no-one lives there yet). I don't believe that will change the experience at The Legends at all, but I can't speak upon it for those moving in soon.
