Staff is great, caring and attentive. I have been here over 5 yrs. It's gotten better over that time. Rarely hear of crime, quiet neighborhood. We have lots of lighting at night. Alot of ppl have dogs. Maintenance is great, always helpful and friendly.Belinda is the best!

9/2/2020 We have renewed our lease(in July) to spend another year here. Our opinion of Windsong is the same Linda, Ashley, Dedra(?) are very sweet & efficient, never have a problem. If we have maint issues and its not considered emergency, it does take a little bit. Understandable with the amount of homes & having to deal with a virus pandemic on top of that. I would and I DO recommend Windsong to any familiy members who are struggling financially and want a place that is decent in upkeep outside and inside. Never have we ever had pest problems, landscaping and amenities are great. There might be a few residents here and there that don't take pride in where there live, but you will find that anywhere. The location couldn't be better with resturants, parks, medical facilities, etc. A lot of people judge this place from the PAST management, not understanding the NEW management is making our homes safer through better resident screening and added security cameras. We feel safe & happy here. Ashley is so together and very friendly and professional. I would recommend Windsong to anyone. Gorgeous grounds, views from our location, and love amenities when open. Very friendly office staff, maintenance always busy(better than some complexes where I have seen the maintenance doing nothing hours on end). Great to call this HOME. ***Update 3-16-21 New people in the office, a few changes with maintenance(more people, much needed), and from what I gather they are doing stricter screening regulations to get approved to get in here(which is great for the ones already here, and bad for any NEW people trying to get in). There are over 300+ apartments so there are always people moving out or moving in. We are happy to be in a 'mostly seniors' building, so quiet for our corner of the world we call Windsong. With the Pandemic going on still, I DO wish they truly would enforce the 10 people to the pool area like the SIGNS SAY. The new cameras on buildings is still a project, but ongoing👍. Not sure if they are looking for new owner's or new investors for the complex but they seem to be getting better. There are a few incidents here and there, but as long as you live your life and let others do theirs, its a good place. You can't beat the location. Happy apartment hunting🙏 ****November 2023 updating. We have been here since July 2019, have gone through numerous office staff and maintenance. I have to say, that the property manager and staff that we have NOW is doing a highly better job than the last. The grounds are looking great, more maintenance to help with the tremendous amount of work orders, and the staff is definitely friendlier. We LOVE the events being held for residents. We moved here from NC and did not know a soul here, (we tend to stick to ourselves), but so happy that the manager lives in our bldg.(and weare friends with some of our neighbors,thats a blessing within itself). Very, very helpful staff. Maybe one day they will have enough staff to have for both phases, so the maintenance isn't so overworked. I believe there are better quality residents here since 2019. The reputation of WINDSONG only comes from people that lived here BEFORE the new management. There truly has only been a few incidents here at WINDSONG(in 4yrs), and for the most part is was NOT the residents, but VISITORS. WINDSONG has gone up in rent, but everyone has, no matter where you go(it's the way of the times). For what you get here, you can't beat the price. Enjoy these views and grounds, as there is not one apartment complex in the area that supplies you the lovely grounds,views, and amenities. If this was situated in Gainesville or Ocala, you would be paying $400 more.You might always have the chronic complainers, but overall the quality of living here is the best, I think.God bless the staff and residents at WINDSONG 🙏.Best place for the price. ***June 2024 update.Renewing another lease for July 2024.Love Belinda in the office, Property Manager has made good changes,feel much safer here.Still the best quality for the price.Ernest fixes efficiently.
