The condition of the place has deteriorated significantly. Unless you enjoy the scent of weed and loud music late at night, it's advisable to continue your search elsewhere. Neighbors are constantly intrusive. Moreover, the roof lacks proper vents, and attic access is through the closet in second-story apartments. Consequently, odors from various sources, such as burnt food, waste, tobacco, and marijuana, permeate directly into your closet and clothing, which is quite unpleasant. I had to call the Cops to deal with loud music since the apartment manager couldn’t do their job. Being a Disable Vet with PTSD issues this caused a lot of issues. I reported this to the property manager at least 2 times before giving up and having to get the police involved. If you happen to own a registered service or support animal, be prepared for potential harassment from the on-site landlord. Even tho her dog that she keeps in the office at times runs around without a leash outside. Additionally, be aware that you may be charged for the outside lights on your electric bill without prior notification, leading to unexpectedly high bills. Furthermore, the windows and insulation are subpar, resulting in excessively high energy bills. This inadequate insulation and improperly installed windows with gaps means you're either constantly too hot or too cold, exacerbated by drafts whenever the wind blows. We have repeatedly reported a leaking sink, and despite multiple attempts to fix it, the issue persists. Additionally, after filing a report through the app, we received a complaint about not addressing existing problems. We also requested a new refrigerator since ours kept opening and spoiling our food while we were away at work. Although someone inspected it and claimed it needed new seals, no further action was taken to resolve the issue. We've decided to vacate the premises. Good luck to anyone dealing with this unacceptable situation there are very nice places in Texarkana that aren’t trash. Image below says it all. Lived across from me and my 3 young kids.
