This home is currently receiving some renovations so more current photos are not yet available but the photos enclosed will give you an idea of the interior layout. We will not be showing the home yet but we would encourage you to get a feel for the location and if interested complete and submit our application for review. You will then be given first preference when the home is ready to be viewed. This is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home with a full height unfinished but usable basement. The home is situated on a 40 acre farm in the Dewdney area and is about 15 minutes east of downtown Mission. The majority of the acreage is leased separately but the home itself has at least about one acre or so which includes a pasture that is mostly fenced. The home itself is an old timer but in pretty good overall condition. The living room and master bedroom are very large rooms, the other two bedrooms are average, the eating area is a good size and would accommodate a larger dining table & chairs. The yard area is a considerable amount of upkeep so you must have the willingness and the equipment to maintain this responsibility. There is a fenced area behind the house which used to contain an inground pool, but the pool was old, it was filled in and now it is the perfect garden patch, kids play area or dog run surrounded by the chain link (could use some mending in spots). The pasture would be suitable for a horse or sheep but you must determine if there is adequate fencing and shelter for your needs and if not a Tenant would be responsible for their own improvements to make improvements / modifications. This is a good opportunity for those of you that are interested in the country living life style and all that it offers (good and bad) If you enjoy having a little hobby farm this is a great place for that! If not, that's OK too. There is a chicken pen and coop here as well. The home has fridge, stove, washer and dryer. The main source of heat is electric baseboard heaters just installed new last year but the home also has an airtight wood burning stove in the basement as well as an oil furnace (which has not been used in years) There is a single covered carport parking spot. The second carport spot was converted into a shelter for the horses that just moved away. It worked perfectly for the pair. There is adequate RV/boat/trailer parking. A pet will be considered with a pet security deposit. $2,400/ month + utilities. Available December 1st possibly sooner. We are just working on some improvements to the interior and exterior making it nice and ready for our new occupants.
