I knew that if there was any type of issue that I could rely on Tom with maintenance to help me out. I lived right above the maintenance shop so I got to know him and Kim pretty well. I also appreciate how well Tom communicated any upcoming maintenance or what he saw around the building (I.e. when I was trying to train my dog, he was incredible helpful when I asked know how/if the neighbors heard her when I left.) Kim was very on top of things in the office when I had questions about rent, requests, policies, etc. If I hadn’t moved for work, I would still be living at Cedar Crest because of how supported I felt from staff.

We are sad to have to have moved away. Tom (maintenence) does so much beyond what he probably has to do. He is always quick to respond when he is able. We never had problems with our neighbors. All problems we did have Tom was always there with solutions and help. I loved that they implemented a texting number for the office as I frequently worked during office hours. There is a lack of amenities but the pricing is very fair for the amount of room you have. We spent about 3.5 years here and if we end up back in Waterloo, it definitely is a top contender if we need an apartment or townhouse. Thank you Tom, Kim, and Linda for all you have done!
