Didn’t know I left a review initially, but whatever I gave it, I take everything back. I would give it 0 stars if I could. You can hear every noise in the building inside and out from your room. Trains constantly run through every few hours shaking the building. Terrible management, I don’t think I saw the landlord all but once on move in day. And good luck with any room that has a window; there’s no insulation, so if it’s hot outside, it’s gonna burn up in that room and vice versa. And worst of all, after I moved out, they charged me $50 for “Drywall Repair” (I never hung any pictures, paintings, etc.) and $125 for a “Cleaning Fee” (we cleaned everything top to bottom) because they saw water spots on the sink. Then, they send me these pictures as proof and I am just supposed to accept them? Hey Yash Management, take a look at these and tell me how you can charge anyone $175? Even a $5 disposable camera has better quality. Thanks for taking my money. I’ll be telling as many people as I can to stay far, far away from Blaul. Judging by the reviews left already, you don’t seem to care anyways.

Trains are constant, loud, and shake the building. If you live on the north side of the building you have to listen to the sirens from the fire trucks and ambulances. The windows aren’t energy efficient and need wrapped in plastic during the winter months if you don’t want to pay for an excessive power bill. During the summer time when the farmers market and other events are happening downtown the roads are usually blocked off. The trains also block crossings for extended periods of time, making getting to the building itself a pain. The walls and floors are so thin that I can hear casual conversations or televisions from my neighbors beside me and above and adult content. Dust and the occasional water will drip or fall from the ceiling. The floors are beautiful but have sizable cracks between them that make it extremely difficult to keep clean. (turns out it was urine) The hot water lasts about 10-15 minutes in the shower if you're lucky. The door into the apartment only has 1 lock and it’s not even a dead bolt. There are no bike lanes or running trails. Some of the websites that help sell the property indicate there are trails. Pricing. The pricing for all of this is absurd. I currently pay 995$ for a 1 bedroom, roughly 950sqft (I say roughly because my apartment has features left in from the old coffee business that was here before). They want to raise this to 1100$ when my lease is up in December. UPDATE: After living at this locations for two years I can honestly say I have never dealt with such a toxic and heinous company. They are homophobic and disrespectful towards tenants. I spent a whole month with a tenant in the apartment above me letting her dog urinate all over her floor, which in turn leaked through MY ceiling. I let the tenant above know what was happening but nothing changed. I let it slide for a few days hoping the solution was delayed, but in fact it was just not being dealt with at all. I had urine raining down from my ceiling several times a day in almost every room. Twice directly on top of me. It took a month to resolve this. I was verbally attacked and then physically threatened in the entrance of the building for parking in another tenants parking space even though the parking is undesignated. I was called an assortment of homophobic terms in the presence of security cameras owned by Yash Management, the property owners. When I went to inform the company of this incident I was treated horribly and completely disregarded because I did not immediately call the police. I have also spent the hottest month of this year without adequate AC, even though I pay 1200 in rent. After a week and a half of no ac, Yash Management finally provided a portable unit. This unit is a glorified fan with a bucket tied to it. I believe they have delayed putting off repairs on the AC due to the relationship I have with the company now. When I renewed my lease they snuck in a few extra fees and doubled up on short term lease fees. I originally was renting the apartment for 950$ and my last rent payment was 1145$. 50$ short term lease charge followed by an additional 75$ for the same thing a few months later. There has also been several arrests and other disturbances on this property. After a few months of living at this location, they added a gym directly below me, fastening various punching bags to the ceiling (my floor). These were fastened directly below my bedroom and I could hear/feel everything in the gym at all hours of the day. It would violently shake my floor. I also had a neighbor couple that chain smoke cigarettes in their unit and the stench manages to go through the walls and choke you out. This was also brought up to management, and yet I can still smell them smoking. The same neighbor also does not clean their pets litter box regularly and I had seepage coming from below the wall. Do not live here. No matter how desperate, there is something better than this place.
