Barclay Square consists of well-kept residential condominiums that range in size from efficiencies to two bedroom units. The premises is covered by security cameras and the main entrance is accessible only be tenants. First level laundry room with three sets of washer/dryers that are coin-operated. There are 30-plus parking spots protected in the rear of the building. A communal dumpster for trash is available as well as separate facilities for recyclables. The exterior is red brick with neo-classical design elements that make it stand out in the neighborhood. It has three floors serviced by one central elevator with access to the roof. Having been a school, the building is generally ADA compliant. Units are large, with lots of closet space. All of the units have high ceilings but some are spectacular – almost 20 feet. They include large French windows allowing light to flood the rooms. Third floor and hallway skylights also add to the brightness of the interior. The units have separate heat, water, and electrical utilities as well as metering. This property is located very close to Chase Ave. and Wolcott Rd., making local grocery stores and restaurants easily accessible for a fun, convenient, and active life style. Barclay Square is conveniently located on a major bus route providing access to the rest of the city.
