Management and maintenance are super friendly here at City Pines. They welcome you with open arms and speak to you as they should. They keep their grounds super clean and very well maintained. Stays pretty quiet also. Would definitely recommend living here if your looking for something quiet and peaceful!!
We lived here back when the complex was under different ownership before we moved out of state. We loved living here so much then, we decided to try it out again.
Well seven years later in April 2020, the new City Pines staff worked hard with us to get us into our current apartment during the beginning of the pandemic. It was a dream transition getting into our home. The unit was clean and smelled great.
I will say you have to understand that these are old buildings and maintenance will obviously be a bit more of a challenge. They only have a hand full of maintenance staff to cover over twenty buildings and only so many hours in the day, but they have always handled any issues that arise in a pretty convenient and timely manner.
In all honesty, we have had our oven go out, A/C go out, and A/C leak. Summer heat can be a challenge with the A/C since the insulation has of course depleted over the decades, so be in mind of that when looking here. It's been probably about a year since any other issues have come up because I believe they handle everything in a way to make sure it stays fixed as long as possible.
We have had small complaints made about us, but we accept our responsibility and strive to do better. With a little patience, compassion (we are all human trying our best and we all have others to answer to), and common sense, it's really that easy to live here!
Also, the location is THE BEST in town for decent rent prices.
Thank you, City Pines staff, for going above and beyond for us all the time!! We're truly grateful to have such a comfortable living situation here!

Marissa has been such a huge help in the process of me getting my apartment! She has been very professional, and seems to have a good amount of knowledge on the property. Even with me being out of town and working a lot she was quick to get back to me and willing to make sure things were progressing so I could move in without issues.

I have the I bedroom with study floorplan. As a grandma, I wanted to have space for my grandkids to stay the night. This is perfect for visitors, an office, craft room, exercise room.
Extra hall storage closet as well as storage on the balcony. W/d connections and fireplace in every unit. Everything you need for daily living.
Tenants and staff are friendly and kind.

i have been living at City Pines for almost two years. The property has been well maintained, long before i moved in. Many of the apartments have been recently updated. Staff has always been reasonable on the few times that i have had an issue. Maintenance has been good to take care of my request in a timely manner. Overall, it is a nice quiet place to live.
I recently moved into City Pines exactly a week ago today. I worked with Brandy and I believe the other lady’s name was Nicole. They were both very helpful, they didn’t just hand me my keys and send me on my way. They both came over to my new place with me to show me cutoffs, nest thermostat etc. They were both so kind and willing to answer any questions. Brandy made sure everything was in order and gave me really useful tips. The apartments are a bit older, but very well kept. The walls and floors seem to be very sturdy. I don’t hear ppl talking or the floors creaking like my last place. I spent my first night here last night and it was very peaceful I would definitely recommend City Pines and the staff.

Stayed here while temporarily relocated for work. I paid month-to-month rent which was huge plus! The commute was never too bad. Nice neighborhood, within walking distance to essential stores like Walgreens, Walmart, Aldi etc. and fast food. Nice complex with quiet neighbors. Only downside i could think of was the outdated laundry room, but I found an awesome laundromat nearby.

I moved into Pine Knoll around the middle of May 2016; I had actually been interested in another property, but no matter how often I called it seemed that management couldn't arrange a viewing of their apartments, so I called Pine Knoll and secured a tour that same day.
The apartment was beyond immaculate; rest carpeting, newly painted walls and one of the only rental complexes were the physical matched the brochure pictures.
I've lived in several apartments over the years, but I've never before encountered one like this; the staff (both in and out of the office) are amazing and kind and they treat their tenants like guests and that treatment is not something common these days. I highly recommend Pine Knoll to anyone looking for a safe, clean and appreciative apartment complex!
