This location is a minute walk from Waialae Avenue which has become a vibrant area full of cafes, various restaurants, specialty desserts, vegetarian and vegan eateries, farm to table themed bars and restaurants, yoga studios and more. Just a few minutes beyond Waialae Avenue is Kahala Mall which offers a movie theater, Whole Foods, boutiques and restaurants. Kapiolani Community College boarders the Kahala Area.
