I live here and have for about 4 years or so. Im giving it 5 stars purely for the current building managers valiant efforts (Grey). When i first moved in we had possibly the worst building manager ive ever dealt with. He stole money from me, was dishonest about most things, didn't give me items i was entitled to in my lease (laundry card), etc... There were tons of consistent problems in the building he never really handled and just pushed down the line with half measure fixes. After that guy we went through about three other pretty ineffective managers. Eventually they gave it to Grey who has been a part of the building and the community of this area for quite some time. Finally problems are being solved, and where the problem is slow and difficult to solve, progress is at least routinely being made. He even updates us on issues. The machines in laundry work. The gym is being maintained. The plumbing is.... Well its an old building but he is always quick to address an issue and until the owners actually pay to do massive plumbing overhauls its just gonna be a fragile old building in that aspect. On top of all this the guy is fighting for our parking spaces every day, and is trying to approach everything from a community driven and sustainability minded perspective, which i really appreciate even though i know some people here dont. We actually had composting for a beautiful moment there. But the building overall said no to that and so he adapted despite his personal wishes. Which honestly is the sign of a good manager. Serving the community of the buildings regardless of their preferences aligning with your own. Anyway, i just wanted to say that. Ive seen some strange reviews on here and i wanna stick up for this guy and also mention the pricing here is pretty competitive with similar places in Glendale so check the place out if you are looking. One of the highest "walkability" scores out there.

On site manager Jodie was extremely accommodating and helpful. I felt very welcomed and was able to look forward to moving in. She was very quick to reply my emails and calls making sure all my questions were answered. Great attitude, very nice person. It makes a difference to have a nice manager. Also handyman Luis was very nice and kind fixing all that I asked without hesitation.
