Loooooove this place so much! First off, can we admire how gorgeous and sophisticated this complex looks?! GDF is brand spankin’ new and you can tell they grasped (and successfully) onto the modern feel, especially for the Valley. You are close to the freeway, but you cannot hear anything! You are also down the street from Liberty Lake, which is a great place to explore. The apartment is spacious (vertically and horizontally) with an open floor concept with brand new amenities (see stock photos on website); even the patio space is massive compared to traditional apts. Nearby complexes do not feel cramped either, which I appreciate. The kitchen and bathrooms are my favorite — from the beautiful appliances to the sliding shower doors (only downside is I can’t seem to figure out how water sneaks outside the door when showering). I live in a 1bd/1ba and I’ve really grown to appreciate my own quality time and space to decorate as I wish. Clubhouse/gym are also well-maintained. I’m looking forward to the community garden in the spring! Commute time is equidistant to Spokane and CDA, which is what I needed for my lifestyle. This place checked off all the boxes (for me). Overall, living here feels very home-y, peaceful and upscale. So far, I do appreciate neighbors who respect quiet hours and such. I haven’t had any concerns so far. I can sometimes hear someone walking upstairs or vacuuming, but that’s about it (no TV, no talking). Generally, everyone seems really nice. Downsides? For a place so brand new, I’d expect central air conditioning. I’m also surprised you have to pay for a covered spot (alternatively, garage), when there’s already limited parking areas. Let’s talk about Management. Lilah is an incredible human being and she’s very efficient in everything that she does in supporting you as a current and future GDF resident. I have not had a positive experience with management in the past, so I really am grateful for her (and her team) in maintaining consistent communication to ensure of a smooth transition moving in or even when things arise, not only for me but for all of the residents. I personally don’t have any major concerns at the moment and when I inquired about potential concerns/complaints from residents when I initially came in for a tour, there weren’t any—I suppose no news is good news! Frankly, I’ve only lived here for a little less than a month and you can tell the complex is still growing, I still highly recommend you check out GDF. You won’t regret it.

I've lived here for over 2 years now, and it has been the best apartments I have ever lived in. They are beautiful, in a great location, with great neighbors, and amazing on-site property management.
