I was originally very pleased and excited about the prospect of moving into this apartment complex. That is until I arrived to fill out the paperwork. This place has a screwed up rent payment. There is no grace period. I am on fixed income and only get paid on the third of the month. The rent here is due on the first. PERIOD. Late one day, $50 late fee, after three times, you get an evicition notice. They make no concessions for people on fixed income. We have no control of our payday, that is federal government set up. After being told one thing, and to drive over 4 hours to see this place, and after weeks of talking to the manager, she conveniently never mentions this caveat. Not happy at all. Not a good place for someone retired and on fixed income, unless you have big supply of cash to rely on.
