Do not rent an apartment here if you intend to get your deposit back or if you want to deal with a rational and professional property manager. My son's apartment was left in immaculate condition, light bulbs replaced, trash emptied, holes spackled, etc. It looked better than when they moved in since the touch up paint the painters used didn't match, and they never came back to fix it. They withheld $900 of the deposit for light bulbs, trash, and cleaning. When you sign the lease there is an automatic deduction for these things whether they're needed or not, which they do not specify in the lease. They can and will deduct whatever they want while taking advantage of these college kids! The worst & scariest part...when I called to ask for details about the deductions 6 times & left 6 messages with no return call, I finally got a hold of the manager, Max Hill. He was unwilling to answer my questions, he would cut me off in mid sentence, and was yelling and screaming so loud I had to ask him to calm down before I would continue the conversation. His response, "I'm not angry and I'm not yelling! You want to see angry and hear me yelling, I'll show you anger and yelling!" Please stay away and spread the word!
