There’s no bugs These reviews are made by dirty people 🤢
Terrible apartments and owners, they said we left trash and furniture.. be got the apartment as is.. IT HAD FURNITURE AND TRASH IN IT WHEN WE GOT IT.
We left it far cleaner than we got it and they're trying to charge us.

BEWARE!! I rented here for over 2 years, paid in full early or on time the entire time, and without warning I got a letter in the door stating they were terminating my lease and I had 30 days to find a place. I called twice and asked what the reason was and was just told "they don't have to have a reason". The only thing it could have possibly been was calling the office to complain about the people above me leaving trash on their deck in the summer heat and the accumulating maggots falling through on my deck, or maybe the calling them about the psychotic drunk that just walked in my apartment to ask why my problem was with him (because he was delusional). He would also beat on the ceiling under my feet when I walked around like I could control him hearing it. He was lucky he wasn't in my unit because it sounded like I was living under a bowling alley at all hours! Outside of those instances I got along great with all the neighbors and they were shocked I was invited to leave. When I moved there the property manager was so nice even though others didn't care for her. The one there now is horrible as well as the owner! They are very nasty and condescending. The place is not worth the price they are asking, there isn't even central air its old wall a/c units. To top it off, they cost me an apartment because they REFUSE to give a rental reference whatsoever, for anyone. I'm not sure why there are not more negative reviews because I have found several other they did this too just on posts on FB. Save yourself and steer clear from this and the other D and P Community properties!

Was shocked at how rude the office manager was when I asked for a copy of my rent ledger or a tenant reference. I lived here for a year and a half, was a model tenant and paid my rent early every month. I understand that she is not in charge of making these decisions. However, I was flippantly informed me that "no one gets tenant references here." If this is true, be prepared with a backup tenant reference if you are moving and your new landlord requires one as part of the application process.
Questionable, loud neighbors. Public park across the street attracts unsavory characters. Dated buildings. No central heat or air. Rude staff, if you can get them to pick up the phone. Maintenance is underqualified and unprofessional. The boiler blew in my floor heater and spewed water all over my unit. Maintenance kindly used my expensive towels to sop up the mess. In addition, instead of clearing me from the apartment to fix the issue (hot water spraying everywhere), I had to remain in the apartment to help them fix the problem to prevent further damage to my things, as maintenance wasn't in any hurry to staunch the leak. Ruined my carpet, couch and towels, and the clothes I was wearing. The contractors they hire to do work outside were even worse. In a separate incident, my patio furniture was damaged by a local power washing "company." Instead of repairing the situation, they gave me the contractor's phone number and essentially wished me good luck. I wasn't able to recover any of my losses and decided it was best to simply move on. I moved to a lovely scenic complex two exits up the highway and have had a much better experience, for a little more money.
There is no security system on the external doors, and I once had to call the police to remove a local drunk whom I found sleeping under the stairs in the common stairwell (you cannot make this up). One positive is that the complex is only two blocks away from the police station, so if something does happen, you can likely expect a quicker response time.
I'm not sure what others have experienced, but this is what I encountered here. Very seldom do I take the time to write a negative review, but I had a pretty terrible time here. I hope this is helpful to anyone looking for a review from a previous tenant.

Nowhere on it's website is this posted, but the leasing woman called me today about my application and said it's 900 DOLLARS for a PET DEPOSIT. This is IN ADDITION TO a security deposit. The $900 pet fee is NONREFUNDABLE. Look at this first so you don't waste $25 on an application fee without knowing.
Current resident, have lived in these apartments for two years. Place is riddled with bugs and pests, and management is an incredibly rude bully. The building I live in has a filthy common area full of bugs, including beetles, ants, moths, bees, wasps, fleas, bats, and bat bugs (yes that's a real thing, google bat bugs), and management insisted on charging me full rent despite both the landlord and exterminator advising me to sleep on my couch for an entire month until the bug and bat problem was solved. I have been unable to use most of my apartment due to it being uninhabitable because of a bat bug infestation and yet I am being charged full price for rent while isolating on my couch. I have been unable to use my bedroom since July 25th and am still trying to work with management to get rid of the bugs and bats without charging me for an uninhabitable apartment.
