I lived in these apartments for almost 6 months, and I'm only relocating because of work. All of the units are clean and newly renovated, and the appliances work nice. The floors are poured concrete which are easy to clean. I chose a studio that I felt was spacious enough and was really affordable. Jody, the property manager is really easy to work with and has great communication skills. She made the application process very easy for me, and made the sublease process also a breeze. The other residents are polite and quiet. No real issues there. For students, UNL is a 6 minute walk to City campus from the building. Location-wise, you really can't beat these apartments. If you like nightlife, there are tons of restaurants and bars. Other shopping nearby are a charming bookstore, art supply shop, a few boutiques, and a Chase bank. There's also a Walgreens on O street. The only downside I would say is that there is a bar that plays Blues music at night. I don't think it's really too much of an issue, and you have to expect that level of noise in a downtown area. I highly recommend melatonin and a noise machine on the nights you need to go to sleep earlier. With those adjustments, you should be fine. Parking is also a bit scarce, so I recommend trying to get in with either the Larson Garage or University Square Garage as soon as you humanly can.
