Gary the manager there was actually really great. I have lived in a couple different places now and he really has been the best Landlord I have has thus far. He was just laid back and approachable which was a nice change of pace considering how rude Landlords can be. The property was always taken care of and appealing to the eye. I loved my apartment. It was VERY spacious with lots of storage space for a very affordable price. I had an apartment with lake view which I could never get enough of. I didn't have any problems with any of my neighbors. All in all I definitely recommend living here!!

My wife and I lived here 5 years, and it was all we could have hope for and more. We just moved to a new house, something we probably would have done a couple years sooner if we didn't enjoy living here so much. It's hard to beat the fishing, kayaking, and seeing gorgeous sunsets every night from your living room. On top of that, the rent pricing was very affordable compared to everything else in the area- it was even more affordable than places that offered less square footage and amenities. The landlord and maintenance staff were consistently helpful, kind, and prompt whenever there was anything, large or small, that we needed help with or to be fixed. I cannot recommend this apartment complex more, and I am very thankful we got the chance to spend as much time as we did living there! P.s. as far as the water is concerned (based on seeing other reviews bring it up) - we never had any significant maintenance issue from it. Once, our shower head had low pressure from some build up, and they replaced it within 30 minutes of calling. The tap water is like any well water in Michigan. We used a brita filter just because my wife found the taste preferable, I always drank from the tap.
