I’ve lived at the Vermella Harrison since August 2024 and here’s my experience so far: Maintenance: 10/10 - These guys are incredible, shoutout to Roberto and the team for always being on it! So fast to respond to maintenance requests, typically same day or day after. Any issues I have had were resolved and they even explain what the issue was and what they did to fix it. They’re super friendly and greet you with a smile or hello when you see them around the building! Leasing Office: 10/10 - The team was so helpful during the process of getting my apartment leased and answered all of my questions along the way. Any question or concern I had since I’ve lived here has also been addressed. They’re all so friendly and I feel comfortable to talk to them whenever I need to. Building: 9/10 - Overall, the building is fantastic. The fitness center is abundant with machines, the common areas are generally well maintained and pleasant to spend time in (I especially enjoy the lower courtyard lounge area with the fire pit). There’s also a large pool, rooftop lounge, pool tables, BBQ grills, club room, and conference room. I am deducting a point for some TV’s that seem to not work on the rooftop and it would be nice to have a better explanation of how to work some of the amenities, like the digital pads for the TVs around the building or the built in digital workout classes in the fitness center yoga room. I’d love to see a sign-up sheet or something for residents who want to learn more about the amenities here and how to utilize them. Location: 10/10 - The Vermella is nestled in an area with a few other apartment buildings making it feel like its own little residential community. There’s even a communal outdoor green space with benches and tables! It’s quiet and conveniently located a couple blocks from the Harrison PATH train. Now, I’m coming here from living in Manhattan, so I’m a bit biased when it comes to public transportation, and I don’t love the PATH, especially on the weekend. Long wait times for trains and packed cars are a frequent issue outside of rush hour, but I’ll save all that for a review of the PATH. I do hope to see more businesses in the immediate area, but there are some restaurants and quick bites in walking distance as well as Walmart, ShopRite, and Target only 10-15 minutes driving from here. Parking: 10/10 - I own a car and having covered garage parking was very important to me. The garage here is great! I’ve got my own assigned spot on the floor that I live on. You don’t need to worry about not finding parking or someone taking your spot, I have had zero issues. Some folks do come speeding down the garage ramps, so just be careful and take your time when entering/exiting. The building also allows guest parking by granting a parking pass when requested at concierge, which is a great bonus for me when family or friends want to visit. Package Room: 9/10 - I’ll start by saying the concierge team certainly works their tails off with helping residents with getting their packages. I can’t imagine how challenging it must be to be the first point of contact for the large number of residents here when getting their packages. They have all been so helpful every time I had a concern or if I had questions about how package retrieval works in this building. There is a new package notification system being put into place this month (November 2024) and I am very curious to see if this will help make package retrieval smoother than how it currently is. Overall, I would recommend living at the Vermella Harrison. If you are someone who works in NYC and wants to live right outside the city with more space and amenities, Vermella Harrison is an excellent choice.

I’ve been living here for a week now, and I really like this apartment. The maintenance staff, Roberto, responds very quickly. We submitted a request one day, and he came to fix it the next day with great skill. Overall, I’m very satisfied.
