Great staff and we'll managed, what a beautiful facility off the main drag in west Lawrence.

I lived here for three years from Aug 15 to Jul 18 and didn’t really have many things to complain about for the majority of that time except for a large area of carpet in the hallway not being replaced so that it matched the rest of the unit (as I was “promised” by the staff member I toured and leased from). I didn’t mind it too much, just that it kind of sickened me to walk on it barefoot since it was super old and felt gross lol. I’m sure it’s probably still there. For the most part, I enjoyed living at Quail Creek: location was great, staff was attentive regarding work orders and the grounds were kept up as best they could be. My only major complaint was my AC/heat going out in March and the lack of attention and communication I received from the staff. I submitted a work order on the 5th. Had to keep asking if a maintenance tech had gone in to take a look (never did that before, they usually left a note). Had to keep calling asking for an update as it was getting warmer out. Finally around May I got them to put a portable unit in. After a few weeks the vendor they were using finally replaced the AC. Also, the leasing office hours changed this past year, which are super inconvenient. Closing at 3 and only being open on Saturdays by appointment doesn’t allow residents much chance to get into the office. Even so, for the money and a mid grade apartment community, you could do a lot worse in Lawrence. Edit: 8/28/18- I asked the staff for a concession for not having heat or AC for a couple of months and was told they don’t do that. As a property manager, I would have (and have) given the credit to the resident. Then again, I would never allow a resident to go without air conditioning for that long of a time.
