I lived here in apartment #43 from 1977 to 1979. through the "Great Blizzard" my apartment was toasty warm. It still had the built in ice box refrigerator to put the huge cube of ice in instead of electricity and still had a hand crank intercom phone on the wall connecting to the downstairs door. I'd open the kitchen window and crawl out to the fire escape to dump the trash down the chute. Beautiful hard wood floors. I loved living there. I was young, bleached blond and a hit the Discos every weekend. I had a lot of loving going on in that apartment back then!! My rent was $80. a month. There was an all bagpipe band of about 20 musicians that would come to the courtyard and play their bagpipes on Sunday mornings. The echo of the music in that courtyard was astounding, all the residents would open their windows and listen. I've not been back to Ohio since. If I ever do I'd love to visit the Greystone again. I'd probably not make it up all the flight of stairs now, but it would be wonderful to visit apartment #43 one more time. I've been in Sedona, Arizona for 40 years, but my heart still belongs to the Greystone.

I’ve lived in many homes in Columbus and can honestly the last year of my life has been the best. I felt very lost at the beginning of the pandemic and since have turned to god. Through HIM anything is possible!!! Living in The Greystone has brought me a peace I never knew was possible. Being so close to roaming goat coffee and UDF has basically given me access to anything I need. Trying to get off cigs but c’est la vie I guess 🤷♂️
