Nestled along the shores of Choctawhatchee Bay, Niceville is a small city in Okaloosa County between Pensacola and Panama City. Surrounded by the expansive Eglin Air Force Base, Niceville is minutes from stunning Emerald Coast beaches, pristine natural springs, and scenic parks, which all offer an array of recreational opportunities.

This place is affordable/safe and dog friendly which is good and ultimately why I chose it. However those are the only positives. The people who live here don't care about their surroundings, there was a lot of littering/trash and insane amounts of dog poop - almost no one picked up after their animals and walking around the complex meant you'd step in it at some point. Some dogs would also be left outside and tied up for hours or just be off leash. A lot of the complex rules were not actually enforced so people did whatever they wanted - including park in the middle of the parking lot or horizontally behind parked cars, there is only one parking spot for majority of the two bedroom apartments which was not great, leave trash on their porch for days or dump entire furniture sets next to the dumpster. Maintenance requests also took up to several months, even with active water damage dripping water from the ceiling.

I was able to get a hold of this place once two months ago. I asked to be added to any wait-list they had. They took my email and said they would send it to me within two days. Nothing. Since then, the last TWO MONTHS, I have been calling trying to get a hold of anyone here. Not one person has answered the phone. Not one person has returned my voicemails or my emails. Going to this property, there is no leasing office. What is going on here? What is this? Who OWNS this? Don't live at a property that you can't get a hold of.
