Moved in almost 2 months ago with my partner and we are absolutely loving the apartment!! The apartments themselves are built perfectly for what we wanted (lots of sunlight, semi-carpeted, modern, good use of spacing for furniture, and private/sound-proof). Also, maintenance has been super responsive & helpful, and management has been so kind & welcoming. It’s a peaceful and clean community and we are really making use of and enjoying the amenities like the gym and clubhouse (looking forward to use the grills & pool in the summer!!). Overall, 10/10 experience living here so far!
I have been a long-time tenant here at the Avalon Garden City. I recently experienced some issues with the A/C. Rich and Ivan stepped up, and even made sure that during the time it took to replace the Condenser unit, they kept the old leaking one charged to ensure my comfort during the heat wave.
I must say Ivan Reyes and Rich Fournillier, have the utmost respect and professionalism, along with great work ethic to keep the Avalon up and running and clean for everyone. I have personally witnessed the courtesy and kind acts to all tenants, stopping to greet and say good morning and ask if everything is ok and if there is anything you may need.

Living at the Avalon Garden City has been incredible. Our apartment unit is beautiful, the location is ideal, and the staff are helpful and attentive. Derek Vickers, the manager/supervisor, goes above and beyond for the residents at the Avalon. We especially appreciate Derek’s timely and helpful return correspondence whenever we have any questions. He has always had an answer and a solution to the few instances we brought up. The maintenance staff have also been helpful and respond to repair/maintenance requests timely.
I can't express enough appreciation for the outstanding service provided by the maintenance team at Avalon Garden City, particularly Ivan and Richard Fournillier. Since settling into the townhomes over a year and a half ago, their dedication to ensuring residents' comfort and satisfaction has been truly remarkable.
From day one, Ivan and Richard have met our expectations, promptly addressing any issues that arise within our apartment. Whether it's repairing leaky faucets, replacing aging appliances like the washer and dryer, or tackling any other maintenance concerns, they tackle each task with efficiency and a positive attitude. Sometimes it could take time to address bigger issues but patience is the key. They're definitely trying their best.
As residents, we are incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication to ensuring our living experience remains enjoyable.
Ivan and Richard, your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you for your exceptional service. Keep up the fantastic work!

After what some may call a very trying period experiencing a total loss on a house fire, the stressful process of trying to search and secure a temporary residence to shelter us during the re-building process began. Then, I decided to just check out the Avalon Garden City and what a miracle that what I was searching for my needs was right there. But, though the process of leasing in my situation was complicated, the professionalism, and effort on the part of the Avalon, especially Vincent Luther - a treasurer and wonderful consultant and person to work with, not to mention patient - with us especially given my anxiety level at that point , was just unforgettable and more appreciated than I can adequately express. It is a true miracle that after the fire we able to settle in to a calm and peaceful lifestyle, and be treated so wonderfully and with such a warm welcoming. This type of kindness will never be forgotten. The professionalism, in addition to the effort on their part to work with my insurance team, was what made this all happen for us and be so greatly appreciated. Now, after a horrible ordeal, we are able to settle in to a calm and peaceful lifestyle with excellent quality and service, secure and safe, with the blessing of creating a new future mainly to the thanks to Vincent and the Avalon. My only wish now is that we will be able to stay forever.
I just moved into this community. Derek Vickers, the manager, is very professional. So far, the property is quiet, clean, and safe. The location is also conveniently located close to Nassau Community College, Eisenhower Park, shopping, and eateries. If you want to live away from the hustle and bustle of New York City, and somewhere that has a nice suburban feel, I highly recommend you consider the Avalon @ Garden City.
