I lived there with my family (my husband and two sons) for 5 years. What a wonderful place! Management and maintenance guys are simply outstanding. If there was an issue with anything in the apartment, it got fixed same day or the next day. Amber, the manager, is very professional, responsible and friendly. After living in the apartment for 5 years, we got our deposit back (excluding the carpet cleaning fee which will be charged anyways according to the contract). So read the contract before you move in, treat people around you well and you won't find a better place in the area, especially considering the price. It was bitter to read one of the bad reviews below as I used to know the complainer. The apartment was provided to her in a few hours after it was requested with no conditions or requirements. I regret I recommended the lady to the management as a year later she turned back and called it "worst experience ever" just because of the cleaning fee she didn't read about. Thanks again to the apartment complex staff. I will always recommend you guys to anyone who is good enough to live there.

It can be very difficult living in an apartment when people all around you have no respect for one another. On the plus side the leasing manager Sarah does her absolute best to make sure we are happy and comfortable. She's very kind and helpful.

Lived at Burlington Oaks for 8 years, I did move out, but here is my experience with this complex while I was there. The Good: +Office Staff are very attentiveness, professional and fair. They always returned my calls, always took my concerns and issues seriously and were professional and courteous at all times. +Maintenance staff are excellent, they always fixed what was broken within a day or 2, and if it was an emergency they would fix it same day. They almost always returned when they said they would, and did a great job at the repairs, the workmanship was always solid. The main guy has been there for years and is very friendly and professional. +Cleanliness, they do a great job at keeping the breezeways clean as well as landscaping. If there is an issue, they will always proactively address the issues directly with notices. +Pricing is very competitive, there are certainly bigger and nicer apartments, but these strike the perfect balance of value and size. Most other apartments in this price range are smaller and have less desirable floor plans. +Amenities are very standard, but the difference here is that they maintain their workout room, laundry facilities and pool very well, if equipment is down then they generally have it fixed within a few days. +Integrity, my deposit refund was absolutely fair and transparent, they even sent me a run down of expenses and I was surprised to receive more than half of it back. +Location is very close to the Airport but still out of the way enough to not be affected by new construction on Aero Pkwy. The Bad: -The dumpster can be far away from your unit depending on your location in the complex, it was a constant inconvenience having to haul garbage on or in my car to the front of the complex, and if you have items that do not fit in the car you have to find a way to break them down first. A long time ago there was a dumpster in the back, but they removed it (I can understand why) but ultimately there needs to be a better solution. -Noise isolation is an issue but I would say its average and should not be a deterrent if your used to apartment living. But you can expect to hear arguments, baby's crying, dog's barking, this is pretty typical for an apartment but its noteworthy. The Ugly: NONE Conclusion: This is really hard to beat, overall its excellent and besides the typical apartment tropes, this should be at the top of your list for apartments in Northern KY. I would be skeptical at some of the other negative reviews on here, they seem to be from single one off incidents and not objective reviews. For me, I would no hesitation moving back here in the future if I needed to.
