We are friendly folks looking for a reliable roommate to share a cozy, 2-bedroom, 1-bath home on a month-to-month basis. There is 1 room for rent. The room for rent is spacious and carpeted with a fresh coat of paint and new custom blinds. There is a sizable walk-in closet with shelving. The house is well-lit, fully furnished and carpeted, with a cozy living room and tiled kitchen, laundry units, dishwasher, energy-efficient stove heating, central A/C, and lovely back and front porches with gardens for planting. If desired, renter can bring own furnishings/decor. Storage space is available. The roommate (me) is a self-employed writer in her '20s with a friendly dog named Mumia. No other pets, please. Ideal roommate is clean, respectful, and easy-going. No drugs or parties; Prop 215-friendly. The rent is $500 a month, plus a $500 move-in deposit. Renter will also have a small monthly utility bill and a twice-annual propane bill for water heating to share with roommate. Free parking, water included. What's it like to live here? Beautiful sunsets and all the mandarin oranges, asian pears, and wild blackberries you can eat. Swimming pool for summertime fun. Just friendly working people, coming and going.
