Furnished Room for rent in beautiful Langford townhouse. Available 15th of APRIL $1100 utilities included. 3 months minimum, with possibility of signing for longer duration if things are working out. (NO NEGOTIATION ON RENT PLEASE). SINGLE OCCUPANTS ONLY (NO COUPLES). This space is shared with myself, the landlord. There is a bathroom near the room (potentially separate, unless your willing to share the bath tub, the rest of the space is shared (kitchen, laundry, main bathroom, balcony, common living areas). This bright fun space is close to Goldstream bus stops and countless amenities, all within a walking distance. Parking is available on the street (there are no guest/visitor parking spot’s). Pet negotiable with deposits. Rent must be payed on time and in full. Must have a steady, reliable income or a student with funds available to reliably cover rent. . I am in my early 30’s and co own the property with my parent’s living in the Okanagan where I grew up. I also have a furry son, my cat named Zsa Zsa Gabor. I am a social worker. I assist people requiring access to: harm reduction supplies/services, health care, social assistance, mental health and addictions services, as well as general wellness check ups. enjoy great music (jazz and house fan to name a few), bike rides, great food, yoga, and good movies. This is a busy lively household with music always being played, food being cooked, and friends stopping by. It is quiet during the day when I am working downtown 9-5. Applicants must have an anti stigma view towards harm reduction services, homelessness, mental health, poverty, and various other issues affecting vulnerable people in our community. I require this for my home to create a safe space for myself, those living here, and friends that come by. This is also to protect applicants that may be impacted by trauma that could potentially be triggered by this environment. It’s best that applicants are heavy sleepers as the townhouse is not completely sound prove. That said I am very respectful of tenants schedules to keep things to a dull roar after midnight. Having a sense of humour also helps Working professionals and students are preferred. I also rent the downstairs suite of the townhouse, so it is important to be mindful of my tenant late in the evening. LGBTQ friendly (I identify as bisexual myself) No parties, but very acceptable to have friends over as long as they are respectful. 420 friendly, but that doesn’t mean get so lit you don’t help with maintaining household cleanliness. LOL This is a fairly large townhouse, I keep very clean, tidy, and organized. It is imperative that applicants be willing to help daily with chores, cleaning up after themselves, etc. Please send me a message with some info about yourself-hobbies, job/school program, schedule (sleep/work/school). Please also provide references from 2 previous landlords as well as a reference from your current employer or proof of enrollment in an educational program (if not currently employed). ** If you are interested, send me an email telling me about yourself (job/school/hobbies/schedule) ***** must be willing to provide 2 previous tenancy references, employment reference or and proof of school
